I’m Lizzie, the cake designer behind The North Devon Baker, and I’ve been creating wedding cakes across North Devon for the past nine years.

With more than 800 wedding cakes created, I have years of experience bringing together beautiful design, incredible flavour and a genuinely personal service. I’m proud to be a trusted supplier at several wonderful North Devon wedding venues and a member of the North Devon Wedding Network.

Every wedding cake I create is completely bespoke and designed around you. Whether you already have a clear vision or just a few ideas to begin with, I’ll work closely with you to create something that suits your style, your wedding and your budget.

I want the whole experience to feel easy and enjoyable from the very beginning. I’m always on hand to answer questions, offer guidance and help with everything from flavours and sizing to styling and final details.

Your cake is such a special part of your day and I genuinely love being part of the process. I put care, excitement and attention into every cake I create, and I will always go above and beyond to make sure you are completely happy with the finished result.

Flavour is just as important to me as appearance. I use carefully chosen ingredients and tried and tested recipes that have been perfected over many years, creating cakes that are designed to look beautiful and taste every bit as good.

I am fully insured, registered, hold a Level 5 food hygiene rating and am qualified in food safety and hygiene.

What’s Included in Your Wedding Cake Price?

Your wedding cake package includes:

• A personalised consultation to discuss flavours, design, and style
• Your choice of a cake topper, fresh flowers, or fresh fruit for decoration
• Delivery and full set-up at your venue (within 10 miles of Barnstaple I do travel travel further afield but this will just incur an extra cost)
• A final consultation to confirm all details — via email, phone, video call, or in person

Delivery is included for venues within a 10-mile radius of Barnstaple. 

I’m happy to deliver further afield — additional mileage charges will apply.

If you’d prefer alternative decorations (e.g. sugar flowers, dried elements, or themed toppers), this can be discussed and may affect the final cost slightly.
